Dr Eleni Kotsira – Senior Social Researcher
Eleni specialises in qualitative research and has experience using interviews, survey questionnaires, and focus groups to explore attitudes and experiences.
Eleni is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a published author in social anthropology and area studies. Before joining Alma, she served as a Teaching Associate at the University of St. Andrews and completed an internship with the Scottish Music Industry Association.
In her leisure time, she enjoys walking and capturing pictures on her DSLR camera. She is also fond of reading and writing poetry and maintains her own poetry blog.
Eleni holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of St. Andrews. Her doctoral project used ethnographic methods to explore the impact of natural disasters on European island communities.
