Konstantinos Pouchias - Developer
Experienced in coding and data science, and with a background in mechanical engineering, Konstantinos brings well-rounded tech expertise to our operations team. Drawing on his problem-solving skills, he develops and refines the scripts behind Alma’s systems.
Konstantinos holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Thessaly, where his thesis involved implementing a bilevel programming model to optimise bids in electricity auctions. Konstantinos taught himself C for the project, and he has since added Python and SQL to the growing list of programming languages he works in.
Away from Alma’s aesthetically pleasing (per Konstantinos) environment, you’ll find him crafting songs on his guitar or indulging his passion for the pursuit of knowledge. An ideal evening for Konstantinos might entail getting caught up in a debate on philosophy or engrossed in a book on human cognition. On his holidays you may just find him wandering the streets of Dublin, where he finds peace, beauty, and intrigue.
