Vangelis Babalis - IT Manager
Vangelis is one of Alma’s IT managers, overseeing our IT infrastructure and assisting our researchers, developers, and creatives with all of their software and hardware needs.
Vangelis previously worked as an Application Support Officer, overseeing IT solutions for staff in Eastern Europe and the Middle East for a Fortune Global 500 company. Before that, he was a Field Telecommunications Engineer with a high-tech SME providing innovative radio systems and services for the mobile telecom industry.
Vangelis holds a BSc in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of West Attica.
Outside of work, Vangelis can be found at his local outdoor basketball court dropping three-pointers like Steph Curry, or blasting eighties metal at home – hopefully surrounded by tolerant neighbours.
