Social Researcher

As a social researcher, you will be integral to our design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research, including phone interviews, face-to-face interviews and online surveys. You will work both individually and as part of a larger mixed discipline team to deliver outstanding work for our clients while contributing to a fun and exciting work environment.

We can be flexible about current levels of experience. A more experienced candidate would get opportunities to manage complex projects, help attract new clients and contribute to decisions on the company’s strategy and day-to-day operations. A less experienced candidate would be enabled to build these capabilities over time while having opportunities to lead qualitative and quantitative research from day one under the direction of supportive team leaders on exciting projects.

There will also be opportunities to get involved in other areas of our work, including our use of social media, project management and general business development.

  • Lead on the conceptualisation, development and execution of both qualitative and quantitative research, particularly interviews and surveys

  • Quantitative analysis of survey results

  • Review existing research evidence

  • Engage with stakeholders and clients

  • Draft reports

  • Design presentations

Desirable skills

  • Project management skills. No formal project management skills are required but an understanding of project planning, Gantt Charts and managing project risks would be a plus.
