Aliya Saied-Tessier – Director
Aliya is a Director at Alma Economics. She is an experienced economist with a special interest in children’s services.
Aliya has several years’ experience as an economic advisor in HM Treasury, the House of Commons Treasury Select Committee and HMRC where she specialised in both macroeconomic modelling and micro-econometrics. Before joining Alma, Aliya was a Senior Policy and Research Analyst at the NSPCC, where she developed the first UK estimate of the cost of child abuse.
She holds an M.Sc. in Economics from University College London.
In her spare time, Aliya enjoys listening to podcasts while trying to keep her children entertained.
